Additional information Verruca imbricata was identified by Gruvel (1900). Young (1998) erected the genus Newmaniverruca and he considered V. imbricata should be positioned under Newmaniverruca. Young (2002) further revised Verrucidae and he placed Newmaniverruca imbricata under Metaverruca, as M. imbricata. [details]
