Taxonomic remark Oralien pernettiana (Blainville, 1822) - nomen nudum from the unaccepted Oralien genus reported earlier. It has comment "Blainville 1822 reported L. Pernettiana Pernetty no figure or description". This species is described here on page 439: https://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=sourceget&id=77810 Blainville's description is based on Antoine-Joseph Pernety's book "Journal historique d'un voyage fait aux Îles Malouines en 1763 & 1764..." I located Pernety's drawing which Blainville was referring to: https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/107284#page/357/mode/1up (fig. 5 & 6) and description concerning these figures (https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/107083#page/83/mode/1up). Page cited by Blainville is 93, and here 65-66, but I suspect Blainville could see a different edition of this book (the one I linked was printed in Berlin). Anyway Pernety is describing an animal found on the body of tuna fish (comment submitted by Zbigniew Kucharek, Poland Sept 2024) [details]
