Editor's comment Lawrence's description of this species (1963) does not actually say that it is littoral; it is generally assumed to be on the basis of name and location. Lawrence does state in a later publication (1984) that there are no littoral centipedes in South Africa however this editor has been assured by someone who has looked for other organisms that there certainly are littoral centipedes present (species not determined). [details]
