Samples of medusae collected from the upwelling region of Minnan-Taiwan Bank, Luoguan Bay, varied island water of Fujian from 1985 to 2001. Four new species of Leptomedusae, i.e., Cirrholovenia reticulata n. sp., Paralovenia latigaster n. sp.,Octocannoides taeniogonia n. sp., Sugiura heternema n. sp., and four new records in China seas were found.
