'Per Eupomatus uncinatus Ehlers penso si tratti Di una specie differente, oltre che per i processi spinosi basali, Anche per il numero degli uncini, e potrebbe denominarsi percio Hydroides rostrata." [For Eupomatus uncinatus Ehlers I think it is of a different species, as well as for baseline spinous processes, also by the number of hooks, and may therefore be called Hydroides rostrata.] However, earlier Bush (1910:498), had in a similar manner named Ehlers misidentified specimen as Eupomatus floridanus, including a brief description, so Iroso's name is a junior objective synonym (same specimen) of E. floridanus, but has entered nomenclature.
