The present knowledge on kinorhynch recordings from India is being reviewed. Currently, kinorhynch species known from India include: Cateria gerlachi, Condyloderes paradoxus, Echinoderes andamanensis, E. bengalensis, Neocentrophyes satyai, and Sphenoderes indicus. Previous records of Echinoderes ehlersi must be considered as questionable, and the reported occurrences of Cateria styx are most likely misidentified specimens of C. gerlachi.
