Diagnosis A species of Liparometra with cirri short and rather stout, ~30 mm long, with 23-38 (usually 32-36) segments; longest proximal cirrals (c8-10) about as long as broad; distal cirrals aborally sharply carinate or with inconspicuous spine. P2 and P3 are nearly or quite twice as long as P1, 14-20 mm long, with 15-30 segments; P3 with fewer segments than P2; P4 about as long as P1 or slightly shorter. Arms 26-45, 110-120 mm long.
