Etymology In the Original paper there is no etymological explanation but as the species "is distinguishable from all other congeners by having epidermal papilla between the spermathecal pores" the name is probably based up on these median papilla. [details]

Etymology In the Original paper there is no etymological explanation but as the species "is distinguishable from all other congeners by having epidermal papilla between the spermathecal pores" the name is probably based up on these median papilla. [details]Spelling Up till July 28, 2017 this species was listed in WoRMS as H. mediopapillatus, but this is considered a lapsus as in the original paper it is described as H. mediopapillosus [details]
