Diagnosis Test elongate, in a high trochospiral coil, circular to oval in section, chambers few per whorl, base apiculate, both intercameral sutures and spiral suture oblique to the longitudinal axis of the test, sutures faintly depressed; wall calcareous, surface smooth except for the radially striate terminal face, the grooves leading into the open umbilicus; apertural face obliquely truncated, with small interiomarginal umbilical opening.
