Diagnosis Test unilocular, globular to ovate, nearly circular in section; wall calcareous, hyaline, optically radial, perforate, surface smooth to costate; aperture terminal, without a distinct neck, elliptical to slitlike, bordered by equally developed lips on the slightly produced margins, and provided with a flared entosolenian tube that is attached to the inner dorsal wall of the test.
