[None. From introduction:]
[ The present work contains the first part of my processing of the Dr. Th. Mortensen collected littoral polychaetes from New Zealand. The term "litoral" is understood here as in my treatise on the polychaetes of the Sub-Antarctic Islands in a broader sense. The New Zealand polychaetes were partly collected in the beach zone or in shallow water, partly captured in the deeper littoral by means of trawls; deep-sea forms can be found in this material The fact that collection was also carried out in the deeper littoral zone justifies the fact that in addition to the actual shallow water forms, species that belong to the deeper water down to the deep sea are also represented in the present collection. ]
