Twelve species of scaleworm (Polychaeta: Polynoidae) are recorded from Rottnest Island, Western Australia A new genus and species, Australonoe willani is described and illustrated. A description and illustrations are given for another new species Harmothoe rottestensis. Harmothoe praeclara and Lepidonotus oculatus are redescribed and illustrated. The biogeographic relationships of the Rottnest scaleworm fauna are discussed.
