Characteristic zigzag-shaped tubes are known from several eunicid species associated with Antipatharia (Anthozoa). Similar tubes also occur in other eunicid species that do not live associated with antipatharians. For extended comparison purposes some of these are studied here. Two are described as new species: Eunice philippinensis sp. n. and Eunice musorstomica sp. n. For those previously known, Eunice tibiana and Eunice palauensis, complementary information is provided. The problem of Tibiana is discussed: Lamarck's zoophyte Tibiana represents zigzag-shaped Eunice tubes, similar to those studied here.
