This study gives the systematic list of more than 10.000 polychaetous annelids divided into 237 species among which 13 are new for science. 220 samples mere carried out with different types of dredges and trawls, and were essentially taken off Ivory Coast during the years 1966 to 1970 from 10 to 400 m depth on the continental shelf and the top of the slope. This note is the first part of the study and deals with 122 species of Polychaeta errantia.
