Bathytasmania insolita gen. et sp. n. and Bathynolalia perplexa gen. et sp. n. are described. A key is provided for the genera of the subfamily Macellicephalinae. The zoogeographical separation of the fauna of abyssal polychaetes of this subfamily in the South Ocean is stressed.
