[Introduction] The Polychaeta studied in this report were collected by the staff of the Discovery Committee in the R.R.S. 'Discovery' and 'Discovery II', in the 'William Scoresby', and at the Marine Biological Station, South Georgia. There follows a list of the stations. Those made by the 'Discovery' and the 'Discovery II' are given first and have no letters prefixed to their numbers; those of the 'William Scoresby' follow, and have the prefix WS, and lastly those of the Marine Biological Station are preceded by MS. The symbols in the list of stations representing the various kinds of gear used are explained both in my earlier report (1930) on the Discovery Polychaeta and in the Station Lists published in this series of Reports.
