Dr. G. Haas, of the University of Jerusalem, kindly submitted to me a small collection of Polychaeta taken on the shores of Palestine between Acre and Jaffa. The majority were well-known Mediterranean forms, but there were also several species new to the Mediterranean and a new species of Ariciid, which I have much pleasure in naming Scolaricia haasi, after its collector. The new records are dealt with below.
