Lately Dr. D. Miyadi generously presented to me some specimens of brackish-water polycheetes collected from the lakes of Sakhalin in 1934. Those of the genus Nereis represent a species apparently new to science, while the other specimen of the genus Glycinde could not be identified specifically as it was in a defective state. The brief descriptions are as follows.
