Homonymy Pilsbry (1888) replaced Rissoa flammulata with Phasianella huttoni because of secondary homonymy with P. flammulata Philippi, 1884. Even though the secondary homonymy no longer exists, Hutton's name could be permanently invalid if the replacement name is in use (ICZN Article 59.3); however current usage following the checklist of Spencer et al. (2009) favours E. flammulata and is here followed. [details]
