A provisory list of Serpulidae species (Polychaeta Sedentaria) is given and a new species, Vermiliopsis pomatostegoides, is described. These were collected in several stations of the Gabès Gulf and in Tripoli during spring 1965. A new contribution is given to the knowledge of the geographic distribution and the ecology of certain species rarely collected in the Mediterranean.
