Remark Jim and Rachael have looked at the illustrations of M. notabilis and it doesn’t appear to be in Microrchestia because maxilliped palp article 2 has a well developed distomedial lobe; uropod 1 apparently has robust setae on the outer ramus. It appears to be most similar to Notorchestia. [details]
Syntype 30 males, 42 females (ovigerous), 7 juveniles; 6 males, 11 females; 4 males, 4 females (ovigerous), IM [details]
