Nematodes from the Prerre Noire sublittoral fine sand (West Channel). III Araeolaimida and Monhysterida. - Two new genera are created : Odontophoroides and Tubuligula. 16 Nematodes species are described, 12 of which are new to Science : Campylaimus striatus, Diplopeltula lucanica, Diplopeltula ostrita, Leptolaimus tritubulatus, Stephanolaimus bicoronatus, Cricolaimus elongatus Southern, 1914, Odontophoroides monhystera (Gerlach, 1963), Odontophora octoseta, Siphonolaimus obscurus, Cyartonema zosterae (Allgen, 1929), Tubuligula roscofiensis, Cylindrotheristus divertens, Mesotheristus hirsutus Vitiello, 1967, Monhystera pusilla, Xyala imparis, Xyala riemanni. Two keys of identification are proposed for the genus Stephanolaimus and Xyala. The following nomenclatorial changes are suggested : Stephanolaimus filicaudatus (Schuurmans Stekhoven, 1946) is considered as species inquirenda. The genus Odontophoroides is suggested for Synodontium-like species with strong odontia. Xyala striata Cobb, 1920, sensu Riemann, 1966, is transferred to X. riemanni n.sp.; Xyala exigua Wieser, 1956 is considered as species inquirenda; Xyala barbata Ward, 1972, as X. striata, Cobb, 1920.
