Taxonomic remark Nitta et al. (2022) opined that Ramalingam (1960) had met the
requirements for publication sensu the ICZN, even though a

never provided. Nitta et al. (2022) proceeded to transfer K.
univaginalis to Cemocotylelloides as Cemocotylelloides univaginalis
(Ramalingam, 1960) Nitta, Kondo, Ohtsuka, Kamarudin, and
Ismail, 2022 and placed C. carangis as its junior synonym.
Because K. univaginalis of Ramalingam (1960) is unavailable and
the actions of Nitta et al. (2022) did not result in the fulfillment of
Article 13.1.1 of the ICZN, Cemcotylelloides univaginalis is also
nomen nudum. [details]
