Additional information Newman and Ross (1976) (p39, 59) erected the new subfamily Bosciinae to house the genus Boscia, which contains the species B. anglica, B. madreporarae, B. oulastreae and B. sequenzai. Due to the name Boscia is pre-occupied. The subfamily Bosciinae was renamed to Megatrematinae Holthuis, 1982. Ross and Pitombo (2002) revised revised the subfamily Megatrematinae. Under the revision by Ross and Pitombo (2002), B. anglica is classified as Adna anglica, B. madreporarae is classified as Megatrema madreporarum, B. oulastreae and B. sequenzai is now under the genus Pyrgomina. See the Megatrematinae in WoRMS. (From Benny Chan) [details]
