Etymology This species is dedicated to the Brazilian native tribe Caetés that occupied the coastal region of the Porto de Galinhas Beach, Pernambuco State, throughout the 16th Century during the European colonization of this land. The name “caetés”, from Tupi-Guarini, a Brazilian indigenous language, means “dense forest” or “virgin forest”. [details]
