Classification Van Soest & De Voogd (2018) discovered that molecular sequences (partial 28S) of this species are not found in the same clade as most other Ernstia species (E. tetractina, E. arabica, E. naturalis, E. klautauae). It is likely a member of Ascandra.  [details]
