Status There appear to be no published usages of the Marphysa parvipes recombination, but Orensanz (1990: 61) informally considered Paramarphysa as a synonym of Marphysa, and Zanol et al (2014: 93) confirmed this much later. Molina-Acevedo & Idris (2021: 13 of 28) confirmed the continued lack of usages, stating that "the combination of Marphysa parvipes was not officially published." They examined the type and transferred the species to Nicidion [details]
