Description
Close-up of the aboral side of Fellaster zelandiae, a representative of arachnoid echinoids: Parallel rows of tubercles carrying spines, and pore-pairs set with tube feet are arranged like the teeth of a comb. These fields are called "combed areas". Arrows indicate direction of food transport.
