Rear view of Bathydevius caudactylus Robison & Haddock, 2024
Description The mystery mollusc (Bathydevius caudactylus) has a wide, paddle-like tail with several finger-like projections called dactyls. The function of the dactyls remains unclear, but they may aid in defense.
