Description Ptychogena crocea Kramp & Dumas, 1925, living medusae, except C, from Korsfjord, Norway. (A) MHNG-INVE-94101, lateral view, bell diameter 23 mm height 14 mm. (B) Same specimen as in A, close up of gonads. (C) Same specimen as in A, nematocysts. (D) Younger individual, used to obtain DNA isolate 1163. (E) Same as D, close up of bell margin seen from oral side, showing tentacles, tentacle stumps and several cordyli.
