Description In all species of the echinothuriids the oral primary spines are equipped with a distal hoof. Distal end of oral spine of (a) Araeosoma coriaceum; (b) Araeosoma fenestratum; (c) Calveriosoma hystrix; (d) Hygrosoma luculentum [left to right].
