Aschemonella scabra Brady, 1879
Description Loeblich, A. R., Tappan, H. N., 1987: Foraminiferal genera and their classification. Van Nostrand, Reinhold Co. New York 1728 pp. Plate 42, Figs. 17-18: Holocene, N. Pacific, at 5800 m. Side and top views of lectotype (BMNH ZF 1102), x 10. Although described as a foraminiferan, Aschernonella has been shown to belong in the Class Xenophyphorea (from Loeblich and Tappan, 1964).
