Praepararotalia cretacea Liu, Olsson & Huber, 1998
Description Praepararotalia cretacea Liu, Olsson, and Huber, n. sp., showing a smooth wall on the spiral side, a pustulose umbilical area, scattered pores, a moderately to high elevated spiral side, a large proloculus, a shallow, open umbilicus, and an extraumbilical small but high arched aperture with a large triangular lip. Sample #7, Maastrichtian, Navesink Formation, Marlboro, New Jersey. 1–3, 9–11 paratypes (7–9 USNM 490509; 10–12 USNM 490510). 5–7 holotype (USNM 490508). 12 view of small, rounded areal aperture with thickened rim in penultimate chamber (aperture is covered by a film of glue that shows a tear).
