Abstract
    Een nieuwe zandbank heeft zich gevormd ten oosten van de havendam van de haven van Zeebrugge. Ze komt boven water bij laagwater gedurende springtij. Dit fenomeen is gekend door foto’s en duidelijk weergegeven op de hydrografische kaarten. Het is waarschijnlijk een gevolg van de werken voor de uitbreiding van de haven van Zeebrugge.
