Abstract
A new species, Caryorhynchus diabolipila, is described from the middle Frasnian Ancyrognathus triangularis conodont Zone in the Devils Gate Limestone at its type locality at Devils Gate, central Nevada. The only other known species of this genus is the type species, C. carya (Crickmay, 1952a), from the middle part of the Frasnian in the southwestern Alberta Rocky Mountains. The two species are closely related.
